What can you expect during a typical 90 minute Wolf Tree Wilderness Group™?
Meeting one another
We meet in the parking lot of a designated wilderness place
Group members share their first names and pronouns
Centering
Snowy leads a 3-5 minute centering / meditation
Centerings are usually based around a nature theme (fire, water, birds, earth)
Mindful Walking
The group walks slowly and mindfully over the land, usually for about 10-15 minutes
5 minute sit-spot
Each group member has the opportunity to find a “sit-spot” and spend a few minutes alone
Snowy provides “sit-upons” to use when sitting on the ground
Group therapy/sharing
Group members come back together and share about their experience in group and also to check-in about their week
Snowy has homegrown tea, water, and snacks available at this time
Depending on the group, a topic may be introduced and explored
Group closing
Snowy provides a quote or a thought to reflect on over the upcoming week.
Mindful walking back
The group walks slowly and mindfully back over the land, to the parking lot.
