What can you expect during a typical 90 minute Wolf Tree Wilderness Group™?

  • Meeting one another

    • We meet in the parking lot of a designated wilderness place

    • Group members share their first names and pronouns

  • Centering

    • Snowy leads a 3-5 minute centering / meditation

    • Centerings are usually based around a nature theme (fire, water, birds, earth)

  • Mindful Walking

    • The group walks slowly and mindfully over the land, usually for about 10-15 minutes

  • 5 minute sit-spot

    • Each group member has the opportunity to find a “sit-spot” and spend a few minutes alone

    • Snowy provides “sit-upons” to use when sitting on the ground

  • Group therapy/sharing

    • Group members come back together and share about their experience in group and also to check-in about their week

    • Snowy has homegrown tea, water, and snacks available at this time

    • Depending on the group, a topic may be introduced and explored

  • Group closing

    • Snowy provides a quote or a thought to reflect on over the upcoming week.

  • Mindful walking back

    • The group walks slowly and mindfully back over the land, to the parking lot.

  • Goodbye
