Ecological Grief & Climate Anxiety

More frequently, clinicians are needing to provide psychotherapy for clients experiencing Ecological Grief and other related existential crises. Join Snowy LaJoie in an overview of Ecological Grief and the growing impact that environmental destruction has on the psyche.

This training will explore signs and symptoms of Ecological Grief; current research on the impact of climate change and environmental destruction on mental health; therapeutic interventions for supporting and treating clients experiencing Ecological Grief and related existential crises; and a brief overview of helping providers manage their own feelings about environmental destruction and their own existential fears.

2 CEs / 2 hours

2 CEs are available for NYS LMHCs, LMSWs, LCSWs, LMFTs, LCATs, NYS Licensed Psychologists and NYS Licensed Psychoanalysts upon completion of training.
